DUNK TANK

This game is designed to measure your reaction time: the total amount of time that it takes you to respond to a sound from the turtle by clicking the mouse button. Your Dunk Tank results are indicated in milliseconds, or thousandths of a second.

INSTRUCTIONS:

The turtle is on the dunking platform, and it's up to you to knock him into the water. But you've got to be fast, so get your fingers on the mouse and prepare to click as quickly as you can.

  1. Adjust the volume on your computer to a comfortable level.
  2. Click once on the screen. Keep your hand on the mouse and stay ready to react.
  3. As soon as the turtle makes a sound, click the mouse once. The game will measure your reaction time to the turtle.
  4. Click once on the screen to start the next round. With each round, challenge yourself to react to the turtle as fast as you can.

Keep playing until the game stops automatically. When you are finished, you'll get your results, and you can read about the relationship between language skills and tasks like Dunk Tank.
